What Do Philosophers Believe About the Rightness/Wrongness, Goodness/Badness of Human Extinction?

The topic of human extinction has gained the attention of a growing number of philosophers. We are interested in what the philosophical community, in general, thinks about the ethical and evaluative implications of our extinction.

The purpose of this survey is to answer this question, which we believe could be useful to researchers both within and outside of philosophy in the coming years. The survey below consists of approximately 50 short questions and takes about 15 minutes to complete. Your responses will be anonymous. We appreciate your cooperation in this project!

Please indicate whether you strongly agree /agree /neither agree nor disagree /disagree /strongly disagree with the statements in sections 1 and 2. Section 3 consists of demographic questions.

If you have questions or issues with the survey please contact Phil Torres: philosophytorres@gmail.com
